What I Do...

Welcome to Mini Boring Bits.

I’ve always loved working with clay, building miniature worlds, and telling stories.

That’s why I created Mini Boring Bits, a place where imagination and creativity come together. Every project begins as a story, whether it’s a forgotten workshop, a cosy cottage, a mysterious alleyway, or a tiny object with a tale to tell.

Using clay, cardboard, paint, glue, and as many recycled materials as possible, I transform those stories into miniature scenes and dioramas that bring them to life.

Here you’ll find short stories, behind-the-scenes builds, tutorials, and finished projects that show how simple materials can become detailed miniature worlds.

Whether you’re a fellow maker, a fan of storytelling, or simply curious about the creative process, I hope these miniature creations inspire you to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.

I work with museums, exhibitions, visitor centres, and businesses to design and build highly detailed dioramas and scale models. From historical reconstructions to custom display pieces, my work helps organisations communicate complex ideas, tell compelling stories, and create engaging experiences for visitors and customers alike.
